Special Projects
The Marloth Park Honorary Rangers recognize that restoring, or in some cases establishing, natural habitats, takes time and perseverance. As a result, we are thankful that our volunteers have patience and strong work-ethics in spades! Committing to working on our projects is taken seriously, and requires team work. This, and the willingness to learn and expand our collective capacity, is, we believe, essential to achieving our long-term goals.
We currently have two long-term projects underway, that we believe are both critical to our local fauna and flora. We are excited to embrace these opportunities to make a difference, and invite you to participate, either physically or financially. Our two current special projects are:
The Ngwenya Hide in Lionspruit recently underwent some much-needed maintenance and repairs;-) The team that worked so hard on this project consisted of: Andy Fetz, Gavin, Kenny Muldoon, Murray Broad (of Marlothi Conservancy), Kumukani Mkoka, and Graham Altenkirk (our camera-shy dynamo maintenance organizer)
